Pregnant Pirelli: Model Adriana Lima Bares Her Baby Belly for 2013 Pirelli Calendar

Every year the Pirelli calendar brings us a jaw-dropping selection of haut-ness, featuring fashions finest models as pin-ups. As we are used to seeing top models on the catwalk and in editorial (i.e working a blunt black wig and no eyebrows), its always a wow moment to see them in their birthday suit. And with supremo photographers like Terry Richardson, Karl Lagerfeld and 2012s snapper Mario Sorrenti, its little wonder the pictures have become some of the most enduring and iconic images of female beauty of our times.

Which is why news that pregnant model Adriana Lima posed for the tyre brands annual 2013 calendar set the blogosphere alight this summer. The Brazilian model-slash-actress is a Pirelli veteran having featured in several calanders over the years in various states of undress. As soon as Vanity Fair Italia posted the behind the scenes pictures of the pregnant star proudly baring her baby belly for this years photographer Steve McCurry, her inclusion in this years sexy line up sparked a debate.

While it's hardly a shocker to see models and celebs in the buff when pregnant these days (Sienna Miller bared her bump recently) to see a woman with child in the sexiest, breast-tastic shoot of the year is pretty spectacular.
