Victorias Secret model Adriana Lima expecting second child

Victorias Secret supermodel Adriana Lima announced on Tuesday that she is expecting her second child with husband Marko Jaric.

Lima spoke to People to confirm the news. She said that everyone, including the couples two-year-old daughter Valentina, is very excited. The 30-year-old Brazilian supermodel added that her daughter keeps blowing kisses to my belly and saying, Kisses for the baby.

The New York Daily News reports that Lima also told her fans directly on her Twitter page. Big news everyone! Marko and I are so happy to share some wonderful news with all of you! #ImPregnant, she wrote, including a link to the People story.

On Facebook, she said that being a mother is my favorite job in the world and that her family could not be more happy to tell everyone the news.

On Tuesday, she spoke to People again, saying that she does not care what the childs sex is. Boy or girl, well be excited either way...As long as our baby is healthy, were happy! she said.

Lima also said that she is going to try to have a stricter diet than what she had during her first pregnancy. I am trying to be good, she said. In 2009, she went on an all-protein diet to make! sure sh e could lose her baby weight before the last Victorias Secret Fashion Show.

Lima and Jaric, a former NBA basketball player, met in 2006. The couple married on Valentines Day, 2009.
